[Satellite Today 09-24-08] GlobeCast signed a five-year deal with Showtime Arabia to provide content management and delivery services for 13 of its global channels, GlobeCast announced Sept. 24.
The deal includes GlobeCast providing services ranging from multiplexing, uplink and aggregation to playout from its technical operations center in London.
The feeds for the 13 Showtime Arabia channels will be delivered via fiber to GlobeCast’s Brookmans Park facility, where it will be uplinked to the Nilesat 102 satellite located at 7 degrees West.
