[Satellite Today 09-19-08] The launch of Intelsat’s Galaxy 19 satellite, scheduled for Sept. 23, will be delayed 24 hours due to unfavorable weather during transit to the launch site, Sea Launch announced Sept. 19.
The launch now is scheduled for Sept. 24 at 5:28 a.m. EDT.
Galaxy 19 is a C-band and Ku-band satellite that will provide communications services to Intelsat’s customers throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
