IPcopter has rolled out CampNet, a satellite broadband access service, following completion of a trial project performed in conjunction with the European Space Agency.
IPcopter incorporated Sat3Play technology from Newtec into the system because satellite technology was the only solution capable of delivering such widespread and uninterrupted internet coverage, IPcopter said.
CampNet is intended for motor caravan users who need high-speed Internet access, voice communication and TV reception, even in remote areas where there is no terrestrial infrastructure.
