[Satellite Today 09-09-08] Mobile Studios Inc. has released its new PortaCast line of suitcase-sized production suite mini flypacks.
The units are equipped with wheels and pull-out handles and feature switching and communications with audio mixing as an option. According to Mobile Studios, fiber multiplexers, VSAT satellite components or recording decks can be added, and each meets size and weight limitations imposed by major airlines for checked baggage.
Launch customer for the PortaCast system is Mexico’s television network, TV Azteca.
