[Satellite Today 08-27-08] Avanti Communications has signed wholesale partnership agreement with a satellite telecommunications service provider in Albania, opening its first business in the country, Avanti said Aug. 26.
    Under the agreement, Avanti and its partner will pursue contract opportunities for up to 1,000 installed sites with a potential contract value of 1.3 million British pounds ($2.4 million).
