[Satellite Today – 5-15-08] Globalstar Inc. appointed Thomas Colby COO effective May 19, the company announced May 15.
Colby, who has more than 30 years of experience in the international consumer and other wireless and Internet-based technology field, previously served as vice president and general manager of Trimble Navigation Ltd.
“Tom has significant depth and breadth of experience applicable to Globalstar on many levels and is a strategic thinker whose operational successes demonstrate a strong, results-driven orientation,” James Monroe, Globalstar’s chairman and CEO, said in a statement.
