[Satellite Today – 4-15-08] Globecast is updating and enlarging its playout center and MCR in London, the company announced April 15.
The expansion will increase the capacity of services offered, as well as to provide multi-platform solutions on a worldwide scale. The new multimedia center will be IPTV and Mobile TV capable, and will provide improvements in graphics and flexibility. GlobeCast will be able to offer clients customized packages, which will allow them to combine tapeless digital technology with more traditional formats.
The system will be completed by June.
