[Satellite Today ¬ 4-4-08] Belgian direct-to-home (DTH) operator TV Vlaanderen will launch high-definition (HD) services at the end of the month, the operator announced. April 3.
The DTH operator, which launched services in 2006, serves has around 55,000 subscribers and mainly targets the Flemish-speaking parts of the Belgian population.
TV Vlaanderen said it will provide information on the numbers of channels and set-top box pricing for its HD strategy closer to the commercial launch.
