[Satellite Today – 4-1-08] Globecomm Systems Inc. has named Bill Raney senior vice president of sales and marketing, the company announced April 1.
Raney, currently vice president and general manager of Globecomm subsidiary Globecomm Services Maryland, will oversee Globecomm’s global sales and marketing initiatives.
"Bill’s new position is part of our strategy to further leverage our communications infrastructure capabilities into recurring service offerings as well as strengthen our sales and marketing organization as we plan for growth in the coming years,” Ken Miller, president of Globecomm, said in a statement.
