[Satellite Today – 3-5-08] RRSat Global Communications Network Ltd. will distribute Sveriges Television (SVT), Sweden’s public television broadcasting service, to Europe, Northern Africa and the Middle East, RRsat announced March 4.
RRSat has been distributing SVT to Asia through the Thaicom-5 satellite for the past three years. The expansion of services will be distributed through the direct-to-home network over Eurobird 9.
Details of the contract were not released.
