[Satellite Today – 1-17-08] Arqiva signed a three-year deal with Gala Limited to provide uplinking services for its live interactive bingo channel, Gala announced Jan. 16.
Gala TV, launched in 2006, is available around the clock on BSkyB.
“Working with Gala Limited indirectly over the years put us in a good position to know what they were looking for, and we were able to provide a well-thought-out proposal encompassing all their requirements,” John Bozza, director of broadcast sales at Arqiva’s Satellite Media Solutions division, said in a statement.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
