[Satellite Today – 1-15-08] GlobeCast will launch its direct-to-home satellite brand, WorldTV, in Canada via NeuLion‘s IPTV platform, GlobeCast announced Jan. 14.
WorldTV Broadband has been launched initially with five Bosnian TV and radio channels and is accessible to anyone in Canada with a broadband Internet connection and the NeuLion set-top box.
GlobeCast expanded the service into Europe in May with the launch of a new bouquet of seven South Asian channels on the Intelsat 905 satellite.
