[Satellite Today – 1-8-08] Sat-GE appointed Vince Walisko vice president of engineering, the company announced Jan. 8.
He will be responsible for all aspects of engineering and sales engineering for the company. Prior to joining Sat-GE, Walisko founded On-Band Corp., which provides on-demand Internet service via commercial communications satellites. He also founded and served as CEO of GSatX, a global electronic marketplace for buying and selling satellite communications capacity and services.
Sat-GE provides C- and Ku-band satellite coverage for the Pacific Ocean region.
