[12-26-07 – Satellite Today] Thuraya has signed a distribution deal with Horizon to distribute Thuraya service in the United States, the company announced Dec. 24.
Horizon is a U.S. based consultancy firm with links with public organizations and business sectors in the United States. The agreement is aimed at distributing Thuraya products to U.S. companies and organizations that operate Thuraya’s coverage area.
The agreement is focused on the roll out of ThurayaDSL, Fleet Management, PCOs and hand held phones.
According to the agreement, Thuraya’s coverage will be available in the first quarter of 2008.
