[12-20-07 – Satellite Today] ViaSat Inc. will supply business jets with airborne broadband terminals and satellite service through contracts with Rockwell Collins and Arinc, ViaSat announced Dec. 20.
The agreements, worth more than $26 million, maintain the four-year relationship ViaSat has with Arinc SkyLink and adds Rockwell Collins Exchange as a distribution partner.
Under the agreements, Rockwell Collins has ordered additional airborne broadband systems to be delivered throughout a five-year period while Arinc extended its satellite services contract with ViaSat from three years to five years.
