[12-18-07 – Satellite Today] MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA) closed its acquisition of Alliance Spacesystems, MDA announced Dec. 18.
Alliance Spacesystems provides U.S. government and aerospace customers with advanced technology solutions as well as robotic and mechanical structures applied on a variety of space missions as well as terrestrial applications. Alliance will become part of MDA Federal, a subsidiary that includes all of the U.S. businesses of the MDA Information Systems Group.
Financial details were not released.
