[12-13-07 – Satellite Today] Luxe.TV will use GlobeCast to transmit its signal to a U.K. audience, GlobeCast announced Dec. 13.
GlobeCast receives the channel’s high-definition feed at its London/Brookmans Park teleport where it is re-encoded for uplink to Sky’s bouquet on Eutelsat’s Eurobird satellite. GlobeCast also is duplicating the feed and converting it into standard definition.
Details of the contract were not released.
