[11-27-07 – Satellite Today] Mobile TV and DTV transmission company TeamCast will provide its Flo modulation equipment to Axcera, a provider of equipment and systems for the television broadcast, mobile media and broadband wireless/MMDS industries, TeamCast announced Nov. 27.
Axcera will manufacture a line of transmitters and repeaters that will be used to deploy MediaFlo services around the globe.
This collaboration is supported by the terms of a software agreement between TeamCast and Qualcomm for Flo modulation software embedded in TeamCast modulators.
