[11-14-07 – Satellite Today] UDcast will supply DVB-H headends for Harris Corp.’s Atlas DVB-H Mobile TV transmitters, UDcast announced Nov. 14.
UDcast will provide its DVB-H IP encapsulators, network managers and monitoring equipment. Harris transmitters will be fully interoperable with UDcast’s iSpicer to enable regionalization of programming from a single source, allowing operators to save bandwidth costs and provide customized local programming, UDcast said.
Financial details of the contract were not released.
