Turner Broadcasting System Inc. (TBS) signed a multi-year agreement with SES Americom for two additional transponders aboard the AMC-3 and AMC-5 satellites to deliver CNN news gathering and special events programming, SES announced April 12.
Turner has used SES satellites to deliver on-location and breaking news reports for 13 years.
Details of the contract were not released.
