Prime Satcom Consulting Ltd. (www.primesatcom.com) activated a motorized, transportable satellite terminal on Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue’s Incident Command Vehicle. The service uses Skylogic’s hub based in Turin, Italy. Likewise, the System supplies to Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue a Linkstar DVB-RCS satellite modem, 2-watt transmit amplifier and AVL Technologies 960K motorized antenna system.
Currently the service is based on Prime Satcom Consulting Ltd’s DSTAR1024+ service, which is a fully contended service distributed by Orbit Research Ltd. in the United Kingdom.
