Telespazio Brasil Signs ABS Capacity Deal to Enable Offshore Services in Latin America

Telespazio Brasil, a subsidiary of Telespazio, signed a five-year capacity contract for capacity on the ABS satellite ABS-3A, for West Hemi C-band beam. Companies announced the deal on Feb. 3. 

Under the multi-year agreement, Telespazio will use the C-band beam for its offshore services for the oil and gas industry. Telespazio delivers critical communication solutions to a wide range of maritime and offshore oil installations and said this capacity deal strengthens its positioning in the oil and gas services market in Latin America.
