Thomas Van den Driessche, Newtec’s new CCO

[Via Satellite 09-09-13] Newtec has appointed Thomas Van den Driessche to the position of chief commercial officer.  Van den Driessche will lead Newtec’s global sales team to achieve Newtec’s ambitious growth objectives. He will also remain responsible for the company’s marketing strategy.

Having joined Newtec as a regional sales director for Europe in 2007 and after holding several positions in the company since then, including vice president market strategy, Van den Driessche brings his experience in sales, marketing and management to the role. He will work closely with the regional sales vice presidents for Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA), Americas, and Asia.

Newtec is also increasing its local presence by extending the commercial team after numerous successful opportunities in South America. Newtec’s São Paulo office, under the lead of Bart Van Utterbeeck, will be further strengthened and will report directly to Van den Driessche.
