Sky News Arabia Goes OTT

    Sky News Arabia has launched a real-time web streaming service, based on Envivio software encoder technology, Envivio announced Sept. 27. The Envivio video processing solution is used to compress and stream live video content to Sky News Arabia’s website for over-the-top (OTT) viewing on PCs and mobile devices by people around the world. Sky News Arabia is a joint venture between Abu Dhabi Media Investment Corporation (ADMIC) and the U.K.’s BSkyB.
