[Satellite Today 10-13-09] Mid Europa Partners, a European private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of Bulgarian DTH operator Interactivni Tehnologii AD (ITV), Mid Europea said Oct. 9.

            ITV provides pay TV service to about 80,000 subscribers throughout Bulgaria.

“ITV provides a growth platform in the dynamic Bulgarian pay TV market and we look forward to supporting the business in order to optimize its operations and further augment its market position as well as derive further operating synergies on group wide pan-regional basis,” said Dragan Solak, chairman of the Mid Europa-backed group of South Eastern Europe pay-TV companies including Telemach, Total TV and Serbia Broadband.
