SES Astra Awarded EuroSkyPark Broadband Contract

SES Astra signed an agreement to provide broadband connectivity to EuroSkyPark, an operator of mobile and fixed satellite communication solutions. SES Astra will supply connectivity through its Astra2Connect service, launched in April 2007. The company also will be providing technical support.

SES’ services will enable EuroSkyPark to offer a low-cost and bidirectional satellite communication service to the energy, transport and security markets, allowing these businesses to implement supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) solutions.
