Arinc Inc. and EADS Secure Networks North America, a subsidiary of EADS, have formed a strategic alliance to address growing market opportunities for advanced land mobile radio communications in support of homeland security, the companies announced.
Arinc has integrated the EADS CORP25 technology into its AWINS architecture for delivering LMR communications. The CORP25 technology is a turnkey P25 radio system that allows first responders and other homeland security providers to communicate across multiple organizations and agencies.
“Working closely with Arinc will allow us to further leverage the technologies and experience of EADS worldwide, and substantially broaden our capabilities and offerings to customers in the U.S. communications market,” Sunny Taylor, president of EADS Secure Networks North America, said in a statement.
