[Satellite Today 08-22-08] Freesat has appointed James Strickland as its new director of product and technology development, the company announced Aug. 21.
Strickland will be joining Freesat from Cisco, where he was director of IPTV business development for Europe and emerging markets.
Freesat said that Strickland will take the position in Fall 2008 and will play a key role in developing, implementing and managing the company’s digital receiver product strategy and will lead the delivery of the organisation’s innovation objectives.
