[Satellite Today – 6-19-08] EMS Technologies has appointed Perry Tanner as its vice president of marketing and information management, the company said June 18. Tanner had previously been VP of corporate marketing, but will now lead both the marketing and information technologies functions for the corporation, effective immediately.
    In this role, Tanner will continue to oversee EMS’s marketing activities as well as provide executive oversight for EMS’s IT operations. The department is organized into three areas, business systems, operations, and web technologies.
