[Satellite Today – 2-11-08] Shiron Satellite Communications will be opening an office in Brazil, the company announced Feb. 11.
The new office will be responsible for the company’s activities, installed base and the strategic push into the market.
"Shiron Satellite Communications regards South America as strategic in importance, especially in light of the fast growth in this region, and the projects we are currently involved in these regions,” Oscar Golttman, vice president of marketing and sales of Shiron, in a statement.
