RSCC Names Deputy Director General

Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) has appointed Natalia Nikolaeva as its new deputy director general and head of business development, the company announced. She will be in charge of RSCC business development strategy, sales issues and public relations.

TCS Appoints Commercial Sales Lead

TeleCommunication Systems Inc. (TCS) has named Timothy Lorello to lead commercial sales, the company announced.
    Lorello will oversee the firm’s sale of messaging, location and emergency 911 portfolio of products and services as well as  strategic partnerships and distribution channels to operators around the world.

Telenor Makes Broadcast Executive Changes

Telenor has announced some management changes, which will impact its broadcast and satellite operations, the company announced.
    Christian Albech, who had been the CEO of Nordic DTH platform Canal Digital will head Telenor Broadcast’s operational activities, which consist of Canal Digital, Norkring, Conax and Telenor Satellite Broadcasting.
    Erik Nord will manage and develop Telenor’s media and content services. Telenor has ownership interests in A-pressen, NTV and RiksTV, TV 2 Zebra, and Otrum. Nord will also report to Baksaas.
