[11-14-07 – Satellite Today] Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. earnings jumped 120 percent in the 2007 third quarter, as the company posted a revenue gain of 12 percent, Gilat announced Nov. 13.
Revenues improved from $63.8 million a year ago to $71.5 million for the most recent quarter, which closed Sept. 30. Net income jumped from $2.7 million to $5.9 million in the same period.
Gilat’s Chairman and CEO Amiram Levinberg said the strong results were helped by several new products unveiled in the third quarter.
