SpaceDev To Provide Satellite Parts To Mitsubishi

[09-06-07 – Satellite Today] Mitsubishi Electric Corp. has awarded three contracts to SpaceDev to deliver more than 200 satellite components, the company announced Sept. 6.
The contracts, which are worth approximately $800,000, will provide hardware in support of several commercial satellites, including SpaceDev’s patented Starsys Cell Shorting Device, a battery cell bypass device that incorporates its Starsys high output paraffin technology.
The deliveries are scheduled to begin in November 2007.
