Measat signed a new deal with Solar Entertainment as the broadcaster looks to boost revenues from international markets, the companies announced August 3. With more than 600 cable headends currently receiving its channels in the Philippines, Solar now will extend distribution into international markets.

The deal as well as an extension of a current agreement between the two companies also will see Solar’s services transferred from Measat-1 to Measat-3.
Financial terms of the contract were not released.
