iDirect Looks To Expand Satellite Reach To Asia Pacific

iDirect Technologies (iDirect), a global provider of satellite-based broadband communications solutions and the U.S. satellite communications arm of Singapore Technologies Electronics Ltd., has expanded its presence in the Asia Pacific region with three contracts for its multi-protocol, bandwidth efficient satellite hub, iDirect announced June 19.
iDirect’s new contracts include IndosatM2 in Indonesia; Pak Datacom Ltd. (a subsidiary of Telecom Foundation) in Pakistan and Bangladesh; and PetroChina’s Bureau of Geophysics (BGP) Oil/Gas Exploration Group in China.
