Radyne’s automatic equalizer technology is the latest feature available on the DM240XR line of satellite broadcast modulators, the company announced June 13. The technology provides an automatic group delay and amplitude equalizer which enables a modulator to pre-compensate for transponder group delay and amplitude distortion. It allows users to utilize up to 15 percent more bandwidth than what may be available without the technology, providing data rates up to 238 megabits per second, the company said.
