Globecomm Awarded $20.7M For Alaskan Wireless Phone Service

Globecomm Systems Inc. has been awarded a $20.7 million contract from General Communication Inc., Globecomm announced June 5.

General Communication provides voice, video and data communication services to residential, commercial and government customers in Alaska; Globecomm will furnish wireless phone services to 200 rural villages throughout the state.
