Airborne Systems To Design Parachutes For SpaceX Rocket

Airborne Systems received a contract to provide the parachute recovery systems for Space Exploration Technologies Corp.’s Falcon 9/Dragon system, Airborne announced May 23. Airborne Systems will design and manufacture parachutes and related equipment to recover the first and second stages of the Falcon 9 and the Dragon capsule. Details of the contract were not released.
