Telenor Satellite Broadcasting expanded its network into three Eastern European countries, the company announced May 18.
Connections to Telenor’s fiber and satellite solutions have been established in Sofia, Bulgaria; Bucharest, Romania; and Budapest, Hungary. The network offers uplink services to Telenor’s Thor-3 satellite, enabling operators to backhaul occasional and permanent video feeds to other parts of Europe as well as the United States.
