Integral Systems Inc. has demonstrated the ability of its Command and Control System–Consolidated (CCS-C) satellite control system to support operations using the U.S. military’s transmission control protocol/Internet protocol (TCP-IP) and space link extension (SLE) protocol, Integral announced.
The SLE protocol is being considered as a future standard interface for U.S. Air Force satellite operations.
The effort was funded under the Civil Reserve Space Service Initiative, with Universal Space Network serving as prime contractor.
