NTV-Plus Brings HDTV To Russia

[5/1/07] Russian direct-to-home operator NTV-Plus has launched three high-definition (HD) channels using Eutelsat’s W4 satellite. NTV-Plus serves nearly 600,000 subscribers in Russia and the Ukraine, and hopes to attract 10,000 and 20,000 subscribers by the end of 2007, the company said.
