DirecTV Inc. expended its local high-definition (HD) offerings to Greenville, S.C.; Harrisburg, Pa.; Jacksonville Fla.; and Spokane, Wash., the company announced March 28. The additions bring DirecTV local HD broadcast markets to 53 cities, representing more than 67 percent of U.S. TV households. DirecTV expects to increase that total to 75 markets by the end of 2007.
