DMC International Imaging Ltd. will add an imagery satellite to the Disaster Monitoring Constellation in 2008, the company announced March 20. The UK DMC-2 microsatellite will be built by Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. and provide imagery with a resolution of 22 meters. UK DMC-2 will be placed into orbit along with Deimos-1, being built by Surrey for Spain’s Deimos Imaging SL.
