NetSky Holdings Inc. is offering a high-speed, one-way satellite service marketed to small businesses and home-office users. Expected to launch March 1, the one-way Internet satellite service, provided through an agreement with a major Internet provider aggregator, will use a high-speed satellite connection and a modem uplink providing Internet connectivity for the satellite when sending e-mail. The modem also provides support to satellite users in the event that difficult weather conditions affect the satellite connectivity.
