Ariane 5 production is being increased to meet growing demand in the launch services marketplace, Arianespace announced Feb. 15.
In a declaration signed in Bremen, Germany, production of Ariane 5 ECAs — the most powerful version of the launch vehicle — will be raised to seven per year beginning in February 2008. The increase will allow Ariane to perform an additional mission each year.
