Having declared its second modernized GPS Block 2R-15(M) satellite operational Oct. 12, Lockheed Martin announced plans for the launch of the third GPS Block 2R-M Nov. 14 from Cape Canaveral, Fla.

The first modernized 2R satellite, GPS 2R-14(M) began operations in 2005, and 12 more Block 2R satellites are on-orbit.
