Orbcomm Inc., launched an initial public offering of 11.2 million shares at an estimated offering price of $12 to $14 per share, the company announced Oct. 19. The company will be listed on the Nasdaq under the symbol ORBC.

Orbcomm is offering 9.2 million shares of common stock and selling stockholders are offering 1.9 million shares. The company expects to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to 1.7 million additional shares to cover over allotments.
