TCS Swiftlink System And Global Satellite Services Pass Network Testing

Telecommunication Systems Inc. (TCS) announced that its systems have passed muster for use in the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG)’s Boarding Team Communications network.

TCS’s Swiftlink DVM-90 and Swiftlink 2410 deployable satellite communications systems, along with the Swiftlink Global Satellite Services, have been assessed by the Coast Guard as outlined in the U.S. Department of Defense’s Joint Interoperability Test Command Tailored Interoperability Support Plan, the company said in an Oct. 17 statement.

TCS’s voice, data and video tests resulted in a 100-percent completion rate as TCS provided engineering and satellite communications network services at the test site and at the TCS Teleport facility in Manassas, Va.
