Mobiapps Inc. Oct. 16 announced introduction of its M100, a next-generation, high-performance Orbcomm satellite smart modem designed for global management and monitoring of remote and mobile assets.
The M100 provides satellite two-way data communications and geo-location in a small package, operating over the Orbcomm low-earth orbit satellite network. The unit includes a built-in GPS receiver to provide asset tracking.
Production samples and developers kits are available, with volume production scheduled to begin in November.
