Globalstar Inc. announced Oct. 11 that it has completed negotiations with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) for a federal supply schedule contract for the purchase of satellite voice and data products.

The multiple awards schedule contract covers federal, state, and local government agencies’ purchases of satellite communications hardware and airtime products. The five-year deal contains options that could extend it to 15 years.
